Awakening To Union
So I was asked.
Yes, I am surrendering to it.
To every thought.
To every layer.
To every bit of emotion.
This thing, this spiritual journey
is truly the toughest!
You can’t make sense of it.
You’re just eternally bonded.
It cannot be broken, you see.
I tried. It never worked.
It will never work.
Yes! You can’t even run away from it.
The more you run,
the tougher it brings you back in.
It’s the hardest, the deepest,
and the most mind boggling.
The most painful, in fact.
But I also know
that it is a special path.
Not many are chosen.
Not many signed up for it, I learned.
It’s a path meant to reveal
all the special parts of who you are.
A path that unfolds
your greatest life story.
Why you are here.
Who you really are.
This is not a journey of the mind.
Rather, it is a journey of the Soul.
And so, I surrender to it.
