THE STORY BEHIND
Let’s do Simple!
Deciding to start this website, www.mst3ri.com, took me several years. I needed more time to at least get me toward the almost of becoming. The goal was to thrive, not just survive. I had to fill up my cup first to have something purposeful to share after. Bittersweet, it was, but it was worth it. Behind all that, though, I still consistently strive for authenticity. I think we all should.
You see, the secret to authenticity is toughly faced. Before we can thrive, we need to be willing to shed those parts of us that we are not, which is a painful process. It is stripping off our old layers, including layers people stitched on us. We need to strip these off so that the real us comes out. Going through this means facing our greatest friend and enemy — Our Self. As a result, we then unbecome to become us. It makes sense, right? And so this phrase became my key. It kept running non-stop in my mind for months. Until one day, eventually, it all came together.
And this is what this website is all about — a place of unconventional thoughts, discerning observations about life’s complexities, and practical ways of dealing with them.
One fine sunset came. It brought me the clarity I needed. And so I finally settled to put this out there. That one idea spells the personal meaning of my name, mst3ri. So here it is!
Combining passion and purpose and turning it into a voice, this idea gave way to the birth of www.mst3ri.com — Finally! After ages! Yay!
THE GOAL
Allow me to humbly share a beautiful transformation that may inspire you, too.
My hope, through my website and in the spaces where I engrave my creative expressions of thoughts, you will find meaningful, helpful, and practical content. I pray these will help you in your quest to “becoming.”
Thanks much for being here. I hope I leave a tiny, lovely imprint on your life.
Let’s do Simple, shall we? Unbecome to become!
THE CHALLENGE
Today, I challenge you to observe your life closely.
We often say life is too complicated. But is it? If it is, my question is, are you not exhausted looking at life playing out in complex frames? Did it ever occur to you that you have the power to make things simple?
Yes, YOU can make things simple. And you can do this with just one phrase — “Unbecome to Become.” And this means stripping off unnecessary layers to reveal the very core of your being.
Yes, YOU can..
-
- Become empowered
- Become authentically happier
- Become mentally at peace
- Become purposely fulfilled
- Become healthier
- Become efficient and organized
- Become free
And the list goes on.
This blog is not about my life story. Instead, I share life lessons from my journey that may help you make your journey a lot easier.
Here, I help you identify 5 Important things:
-
- How to recognize complexities in your life and yourself
- How to break down these complexities
- How to simplify them
- How to identify practical solutions
- When and how to apply these solutions
The truth is that we are programmed by our families and environment to live a certain way. Society, unfortunately, expects us to follow some irrational programming. Most of us do follow these. Consequently, it shaped our layers but buried the very core of our being. I don’t think none of us want that, especially when we lose ourselves in the process. Life is to be lived authentically, not by layers and layers.
So unlearn the wrong programming. Strip off the layers that you are not so that you can “become” who you are. Thus, “unbecoming” who you are not.
So my next question is, are you ready to commit to becoming that person?
