Your Pain Has a Purpose

Pain is a good thing. Do not be afraid of it. And I say that with conviction.

When you become a survivor of something, you also become a warrior of it and a catalyst for change. You become an inspiration. You see, pain is not there for nothing. It calls for you to use it for its purpose. Otherwise, what you went through was just a waste of your journey.

Your challenges. Your hardships. Your failures. All of it. Do not waste your pain. Use those hurts, those losses, those mistakes, those miseries into something people can get strength from. Fight if you must. Speak whenever you can. Offer your hand in ways not many people know. It may not always be enough, but it may do something for someone. As a matter of fact, many strangers out there are fighting silent battles day in and day out. You were once in their place, remember? You know exactly how it feels to be there, to have no one to get you through it. But now you are given the power to help others survive what you have overcome. Do not ever waste it.

Your pain brought you to an extraordinary life to polish you to be extraordinary. Do not die ordinary. Choose to leave a fine print of strength for people to hold onto. Who knows? Someone out there could use a bit of your light.

Find the purpose in your pain. And use it to its highest purpose.
